Today, I stumbled upon Multiply and immediately signed in. It seems like a good place to be where I can share the ups and downs of my everyday life with my friends around the world.
It's also a good place to (re)start my entries as I begin my new role as someone's other half; someone's wife.
That chapter of my life started on August 8, 2006 at Masjid Wilayah Jalan Duta, after Asar prayers.
It's been close to two months now and as I've mentioned before, it's definitely different.
It is now Ramadhan, and the difference is much more aparent.
To grow up in (relative) luxury with a maid to tend to household chores is definitely a wonderful thing! Unfortunately, real life sets in as soon as you get married...!!
I now have to deal with the ironing, washing up, etc etc... all stuff that I really REALLY loathe! The two things i love most is to decorate and to cook, ini a perfect world where there's always someone to clean up after you.
Terrible, right??
Anyway, I am slowly adapting, though somtimes I can't help but remind him of all the promises he made about sharing responsibilities (READ: CHORES) around the house. He is also adapting to me, I guess, since at times I am not a ery easy person to live with.
Ramadhan.... a very tiring and trying time indeed!
